I am suffering from uncontrolled anxiety, and depression for which I am taking these medicines for a year:
Day: Brolite 3mg(half a tablet), Morcet 20mg, Inderal 10mg
Night: Brolite 3mg, Inderal 10mg
Now the problem is that my sleeping pattern is very much disturbed. I can't sleep at night, that is affecting my quality of life very much. It feels like I am living in a different time zone.
I came accross a youtube video in which a famous doctor said that melatonin supplements are beneficial in normalizing the circadian rythm. Is it true?
Can I use melatonin supplements while taking the medicine?
If yes, what about choosing the right supplement and dosage?
Any possible interactions?
Well yes melatonin supplements are good but as you said you are taking medicine so it will better to consult your psychiatrist for sleep disturbance. Sleep can be managed by medication in an effective manner. If you feel that you are not getting improved by these medication than i will suggest to consult dr. Zaidan on this website. Hopefully he will help you to manage this problem.
